Fitness is the in trend right now, not alone just coming into the summer months when everyone wants to look the best as the winter layers get peeled off once again, but from the more recent years as we become more and more aware of being health conscious. Bodybuilders and those in weight training watch their diet especially as they balance proteins and carbs etc. Following on the heels of our recent shoot here with IDFA winner Alison Golding and her husband Ken, I discovered last evening that one of my photos has been featured in the current issue of Musclemag (issue 388) from a shoot I did in 2009 with Tyler Webb and Stacey Russell.

The Better Point of View

Dale Mouscos

Dale Mouscos

Some years ago now, in my early days of stock photography, I had the pleasure of meeting a young woman named Dale Mouscos. This assertive and determined young woman was to become a regular model for both Peter Finnie (a colleague photographer whom introduced us) and I. Photoshoots with Dale found us shooting many concepts and themes, all of which were energetic and fun. Over time I met her sister Nikki. For some time I’d known that Dale had a book in progress, and I’m excited to be able to say that its now published.

Its a book of poetry which Dale has written, inspired from her experiences in life. I’m not going to spoil anything here, this is a book well worth putting your hands on and reading. Dale has been nominated for many awards such as “The Best Poems and poets of 2007″ and has been published previously in several anthologies. She has been granted the “Editors Choice Award” on numerous occasions.
