Our Origins
O Driscoll Imaging was founded in 2006 following a transatlantic move to Canada by photographer Christopher O Driscoll. Involved with photography for over 20 years, owner photographer Christopher O Driscoll has successfully managed to turn his much loved pastime into a successful career.  An award winning and internationally published photographer, Christopher is now based in Barrie Ontario, 100 km north of Toronto.

As a contributing writer to Photosho magazine, a Canadian photo magazine written by Canadian photographers for photographers, and PIE magazine as a photographic contributor, Christopher has expanded his creative horizons immensely. In 2009, he was instrumental in bringing Help Portrait to Barrie which he still continues to be the lead co-ordinator of. In 2011, Christopher joined the administration team of Helping Hearts of which he is also a photographer for.

Married with a 20+ year old step daughter, Christopher understands the importance of creating those treasured and timeless family memories.  His motto "bringing photography to life" stems from a belief that individual and family photos should reflect the personality of the people, rather than the stereotypical rigid posed photos we've all seen so many times. Recognizing his roots in the early days of his career, Christopher is a firm believer in giving back, and actively assists newcommers to the industry.
